Restless The King Books King Series Book 3 edition by Tawdra Kandle Paranormal Romance eBooks

I have read all of the King Series by Tawdra Kandle. It actually was one of the first books I wrote a review for and I have been following Tawdra around ever since. I love how her books are truly YA. There is nothing in them that you wouldn't want your teenager reading. In fact, other than the paranormal elements, everything is something that your child will see in school on a daily basis. It is a series of life experiences that nearly every teenager can relate to. Even the paranormal elements are things they can relate too without actually being able to perform magic. I can explain this better by telling you a little more about this particular story.

Tasmyn was pretty much forced to take an independent study with Ms. Lacusta at the end of book two, but what you learn is that she doesn't really feel all that forced into it in book three. Ms. Lacusta decides to teach Tasmyn everything she knows about magic. She sees potential in Tas as her daughter's magical twin (that is explained in books two and three). Tasmyn eventually decides that it would be a good idea for her to learn how much magic she really can perform. Rather than learning it on her own, causing potentially bad things to happen, she sees Ms. Lacusta as the better of two evils, a mentor. What she does not realize is that she will have to tear apart her life as she knows it in order to gain control of the magic within her. She begins lying to nearly everyone. She does things to her friends that she normally would never do. She starts using people. All of these things are what our kids will eventually run into in one form or another. For Tasmyn, they were all because of her desire for power over the magical realm. She must learn some valuable lessons that will have even you feeling a little guilty. It's a very emotionally charged book, and I am looking forward to reading book four, Endless.

Restless The King Books King Series Book 3 edition by Tawdra Kandle Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews

I loved this series of books by this author.
This is the third book in the series.
The author did a great work with the characters tasmyn , nell , michael , the teacher and everything.. i am very addictied to this series.
A book you just cant put down.
I received the first two books of the King Series for free through . I enjoyed them so much, that I purchased the third one. I have to say, that the second Tawdra Kandle releases a new book, I will be one of the first to buy it. It matters not that they are young adult novels.

I am very invested in the character Tasmyn, who can read minds. Through the first two books, I felt as if I had gotten to know her and she became a friend. I found myself telling her aloud to do things or not to do things. She makes decisions in this book that are surprising and not in her character.

The story line was incredibly suspenseful and I could not put it down. I would recommend it to anyone who likes paranormal romance.
This book is just as good as all the others...except that Tas and Michael aren't together-together like they were in the first book. That was sad...

I literally held my breathe in anticipation- I couldn't tell who Tas would choose? Michael or the evil Ms. Lacusta???

Go read it!!!!
I have read this whole series and I must admit I liked this book the least. Mainly because one of my favorite characters wasn't in it hardly at all. This book did have me on the edge of my set several times and I definitely do think this is a must read especially if you have read the others in this series. After reading this you know that their is still more entertaining books coming our way.
I love the first two books in the King series, but Restless is my favorite of the three. It's fantastic. I couldn't put it down. Early on, I began to feel that Tasmyn was dealing with an addiction, and then later she saw that. What a brilliant development on Tawdra Kandle's part. I enjoyed how Nell came back into this book. Every message Michael left for Tasmyn tore me apart. That worked so well. Each character is a gem. I can't wait for the next book!
Tasmyn is still so lost without Michael. But now she is being treatened by her teacher to learn or she will out her to everyone. So she does to protect her family, but now that she is learning her true powers she is starting to forget about her family and friends, she even decides to leave Michael and start messing with the new guy to help full the void in her heart. Even though she knows it is wrong to mess with Mrs. Lusca she can't help but be drawn to these powers of learning and she loves the excitement of it. Until she hurts her best friend does she realize all her faults and what she is becoming and does not like herself anymore. great story.
The story is well crafted - so well, in fact, that it made me overlook my growing dismay at Tasmyn's actions. I definitely think she made some more decisions during the course of this book, but I suppose what counts is how she handles it after the fact.

If you can suspend belief long enough to accept what's going on in King (and, apparently, in Romania), things are quite realistic. Characters are dynamic, flawed, and confusing. Since the story is told only from Tasmyn's POV you only know what she can 'hear'. That said, as a teenager going through a rough time she definitely ignores a lot of what she hears. I definitely felt bad for everyone around her and had very little sympathy of her self-inflicted breakdowns. But, I guess she was well intentioned for most of it and without the wisdom of someone older or more experienced with life she did the best she good.

When all is said and done, a must read for those following the King Series. As with the previous book, I was a bit annoyed with Tasmyn the entire time, but I am excitedly looking forward to the conclusion of it all!
