I love Margaret Peterson Haddix's book, Caught. In this book, 13 year old Jonah and his younger sister, Katherine are in school when time stops. They find themselves on another journey through time to 1903 and visit Albert Einstein and his wife, Mileva. Apparently, Albert knows about their last trip through time and they must get him back on track. They are both invisible, but Mileva finds them. She takes control of the device making them invisible and then goes to visit her secret daughter, Lieserl, who is fatally sick. While they are there, Mileva discovers them and their cover is blown. As soon as Jonah and Katherine make it out of 1903, Their "supervisor," JB realizes what has been done. Time is on the edge of being ripped apart. Literally. It is now up to Jonah, Katherine, and JB to get Mileva and Einstein back on track.

Caught The Missing Margaret Peterson Haddix 9781416989820 Books Reviews
The fifth book in series continues the well written saga of time travel.
This book is a very interesting book and is one of the most complex books in the series, because the explanations in the book match with real history, which makes it more life-like. I would recommend this to people who have read the other books in the series, and if you haven't read the series, then you should because it's a page-Turner!
Okay so if you are hesitating about this book, well don't! First, read the books before this book because even though Margaret Peterson Haddix tells you a bit of the previous books you will still really want to rad the other books. The missing series is amazing and I am so glad that Margaret Peterson Haddix actually did a book on Einstein! I didn't even knew he had a daughter and in the back of the book there is a author'a note about the real history of Einstein so make sure to read that because it is really interesting!!! Yeah, so when you get a chance, read the missing series and continue till the end. I really want to read Revealed really bad too! Man it is the last book in the series and the one everyone wants to know about. I started reading the first book of The Missing series because it was on the book list for school so I started reading that and then I just WANTED to read the rest of the series because it is just that good! Well if you wanted to know if this book was good or not that is you answer, it is amazing!!!! Well thanks for reading and enjoy the series and the book!
My daughter has all of the other books. I looked everywhere to find this one because I wanted to get it for her Christmas present. I wasn't able to find it anywhere at home (Bahamas) I came on and I had to get this book! Needless to say, she was so surprised, excited and happy when she opened her gift to find this book inside. She finished this book over the Christmas holiday and looking forward to the next book! I would definitely purchase the other book from .
This one was a little slower than the rest but still really good and worth reading. I will never look at those people from history the same way again.
This is my favorite book of the "Missing" series. I enjoyed Haddix's books with the little historical flavor she puts into them. Course I realize it's hypothetical but in reading these kinds of books it helps bring a little more understanding of the situations, conditions, and scenarios which might have occurred during that period of history. The science fiction element of time travel and meetings characters in the past come to live in her books. It's good reading for older elementary school children and middle school age children. Thanks to my two granddaughters, I have been able to enjoy these books as well.
Before starting this review I would like to admit that I began reading Caught with very low expectations. While I truly enjoyed the first two books, both Sabotaged and Torn disappointed me to say the least. They confused me and, to be honest, the only reason I actually read torn was because I like to finish what I start. I suppose the reason I disliked them was rooted in my distaste of both the Second Arc,whose ides and reasoning I agreed with, and Jonah's crush on Andrea, who I could barely stand. The declining quality, in my eyes, had me very skeptical of Caught.
Now that I've finished the book I'm very glad I pushed those doubts aside. Caught rekindles my faith in the Missing series and, for the first time since Found, had me awaiting instead of dreading the next installment. This book follows Jonah and Katherine as they find themselves stuck in Albert Einstein's time. While their trip through time was a bit less planned than others they assumed their goal was the same as always, to rescue missing children of history. However a twist of faith has gives them another problem Albert Einstein isn't following time, he's thinking the wrong things and he might even discover their secrets! The missing child for this book is Emily (actually Albert Einstein's daughter). You might of might not remember her as the girl who talks about god while in the cave during the first book. Her role isn't as big as other missing children, but crucial nonetheless.
This book is by far my favorite and definitely recommend it.
